Resources
Tips for your submission. Your process is what sets you apart.
Here's how to document and present it effectively.
Documentation
Great process documentation starts before you begin editing.
Start documenting early
Begin capturing your process from day one. Screenshots, notes, and rough cuts are all valuable.
Show iterations
Export versions at key milestones. Showing V1 to V3 demonstrates growth and decision-making.
Explain your choices
Don't just show what you did—explain why. What problem were you solving? What alternatives did you consider?
Document constraints
Time limits, equipment limitations, and challenges you overcame are all part of your story.

Process Statement Guidelines
- Word count: 200-500 words. Aim for quality over quantity.
- Tone: Be authentic. Write in your own voice. Technical jargon is fine if it's relevant to your process.
- Format: Use paragraphs to organize your thoughts. You can use section headings if helpful, but they're not required.
- Avoid: Generic statements that could apply to any project. Be specific about YOUR decisions and YOUR process.
